30 Days Of Jaye: Swaddling Clothes

Upon hay and dark grasses,

Underneath star-draped skies,

Florescent lit hospital beds,

Heart rates incessant,

Consistent with divine creation.

Passions give way to life

Labored and strained,

Harnessing, sustaining energy housed

Within such a furious form.

Forgiveness for this put

Upon the softened belly of

The mother bear, wiped

Clean and rosy, warmed

 By unnatural energy.

A life charged dependent

On wisdom subject to whims,

She is mine.
